ਬਣ ਬੈਠੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ 

ਮੈਂ ਕਰਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਤੋਂ ਅਣਜਾਣੀ

ਕਿੰਝ ਅਪਣਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਜਾਹਰ ਕਰਾਂ 

ਕਿੰਨੀ ਲਫਜ਼ੀਂ ਦੱਸਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਮਰਾਂ

ਜੱਗ ਨਾ ਜਾਣੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਲੱਗੀ  ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਡਰਾਂ  

ਨਿਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਛਾਤੀ ਧੱੜਕੇ ਦਿੱਲ

ਕਿਹੜੀ ਘੜੀ ਫੁਲ ਤੋੜਾਂ ਮਨ ਲਲਚਾਏ 

ਦਿਮਾਗ ਤੇਜ਼ ਨੱਠੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਪਾਉਣ  ਦੀਆਂ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਬਣਾਏ 

ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਬਾ ਦਿਲ ਫੁਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਨੇ ਲਈ ਲਾਏ

ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਐਸਾ ਬੇਸ਼ਰਮ ਕਰਤੂਤੋਂ ਬਾਜ ਨਾ ਆਏ 

ਠੀਕ ਨਾ ਗ਼ਲਤ  ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਮੈਂ ਬੇਵਫਾਈ 

ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਪਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਿਆ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਰਜਾਈ 

ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਵਸ ਮੰਨਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਉਹ ਜਿਸ ਹਵਸ ਦਿਮਾਗੀ ਪਾਈ 

ਜਵਾਨੀ 'ਚ ਕਾਮ ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਦੀ ਅੱਧ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹਰ ਵਾਰ ਮਾਰ ਖਾਈ 

ਬੁੱਢਾਪੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੁੱਛ ਘਟੀ ਹਵਸ ਦਿਮਾਗੋਂ ਨਾ ਅਜੇ ਜਾਈ 

ਸੋਚਾਂ ਮਤੇ ਮਰ ਗਈ ਹਵਸ ਜਿੰਦ ਫਿੱਕੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਊ 

ਬਿਨਾ ਰੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਕੀ ਜੀਣ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਆਊ

Didn’t bother what others had to say 

Toddler  I was told don’t fidget be quiet 

I never sat still ran around creating a riot 

At puberty I was told don’t t do that blind you will go 

I defied putting my hands to use pleasured myself so 

Come adulthood elders said don’t drink it is bad 

With friends drank silly can’t remember the tots I have had 

Society believes in old age one should be chaste sober and wise 

Not for me I still frolic dance and enjoy and totter through life

For guardians of morality lords infernal 

Believe love is nature's best boon 

Heavenly is the pleasure  enjoy the swoon

Legs weak knees creaking but I don't have to run 

I can walk in leisure or laze in the sun 

Muscles are bit floppy can't lift much weight 

Yet strong enough to do my things and stand straight

Suits me good I hear what I want to hear 

Brain a little foggy I tend to forget 

Helps to erase old hurt anger and regret
