ਰੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇ ਨਸ ਗਈ ਪਿਆਰੀ
ਰੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਰਬ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਨਲੇਵਾ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ
ਜੱਸਾ ਹਸਿਆ ਜਾਦਾ ਨਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਖਾਲੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੀ ਤੌਜੌਰੀ

Life is drama and a play they say
Some live crying some laugh all the way
Cried he who suffered heavy loss of money
Cried he who earned society's infamy
Cried he who was ditched by his sweetheart honey
Cried he who was struck by God with fatal malady
Jassa laughs never lost wealth to gamble or game
Jassa laughs he never had a name for society to defame
Jassa laughs his life partner is a graceful charming dame
Jassa laughs God has blessed him with health is his claim
Jassa live a life happy and gay
No cribbing no crying is his way
For Jassa life is laughter and play
