Life So Good
Not a coward nor brave nor bold
Young at heart though by years old
Followed middle path dared not chance
Lived a life full of a song and dasnce
Took it easy never sweated it hard
Lucky I was I got my life's rewards
Bad habits I had aplenty virtues I had few
Sinful was I greedy took more than my due
With a clean heart loved and made many a friend
Never deserted halfway was there till the very end
In ripe old age I sit back and reflect
Led a full life and I have no regret
I thank the Creator who gave me life so good
Was saviour in troubled time with me He stood
Grateful for small mercies can't thank Him enough
True are the words true the feelings says poet Jass
