The earth goes round
And round night and day
It does not stop
Come what may

The stars they shine
 on cloudless nights
They twinkle like diamonds
And give us much delight

The moon it waxes and wanes
From a crescent to as large as a balloon
It is so beautiful
You tend to swoon

The sun is up at dawn
And down at dusk
Gives us days to work
And nights to rest

And still the earth goes
round and round night and day
It does not stop
Come what may.
