ਜਾਨਲੇਵਾ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾ ਲੱਗੇ ਸੁਖੀ ਰਹਿਣ  ਉਸਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ 

ਮੰਗੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਜੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਯਾਰੀ 

ਮੰਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ਨਾਰੀ 

ਸੁਖੀ ਵਸਦਾ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਮੰਗੇ ਔਲਾਦ ਮੰਗੇ ਕਹਿਣਕਾਰੀ

ਸਾਧ ਸੰਤ ਬਣਨਾ ਨਾ ਮੰਗੇ ਮੰਗੇ ਥੋੜਾ ਗਿਆਨ

Jassa doesn't ask for much for a little he craves 

Doesn't shy for asking for that little he braves 

Doesn't ask for lavish food nor royal table spread 

Just enough to fill his belly just plain slice of bread 

Doesn't ask for costly branded clothes wants simple attire 

Enough to cover his nakedness in rough woven is his desire 

Doesn't ask for gold diamond jewels nor cash stuffed chest 

Just enough to get by and meet those needs which are must 

Doesn't ask to be a celebrity nor wants a big name 

Just wants his honour intact and not to earn infame 

Doesn't ask to be a wrestler nor herculean  body 

Just want healthy easy living and no fatal malady 

Jassa asks for his friends to be sincere 

Wants  wife a graceful charming and dear 

Asks  children who  his  demands willingly do bear 

Doesn't ask to be a saint nor seer just some sense is his plea 

Just enough awareness to wholeheartedly to worship Thee 

Jaasa doesn't ask fo much for a little he craves 

Doesn't shy from asking for that little he braves
