Tale of blackened beard I'll tell and caution thee
Hark me my aged peers don't blacken let it be
To look young I blackened my beard
Listen to what I say very badly I faired
Different was my look different my personality
Nobody saw me as aged took me to be young laddie
To appear young one has to pay a toll so be ready
Blackened beard covered head with best touppee I could find
A heavy lady slipped on a banana peel and landed on her behind
She's too heavy for me to lift I was thinking in my mind
Crowd gathered and started to yelp
Young big oaf not bothering to help
That day hence I stopped blackening my beard
Many a benefit of white beard listen my dear
Many a young men will come forward and offer may I help you grand
Bless you youngster live long I praise them but give not a helping hand
Young lasses will come sit beside you without any fear
They think old geezzer is beyond romance I'm safe here
