ਜਿਸੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਉਹ ਨਿਹਾਰੇ

ਰੂਪ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਚੋ ਚੇ ਜਾਵੇ

ਵੇਖ ਚੰਦ ਸ਼ਰਮਾਵੇ

ਲੱਕੋਂ ਭਾਰੀ ਪਰ

ਲੱਕ ਮਟਕ ਮਟਕ ਮਟਕਾਵੇ

ਪੈਲ ਪੌਂਦੀਂ ਜੱਦ ਟੁਰੇ

ਮੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਤ ਪਾਵੇ

ਚੇਹਰਾ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੱਸ ਮੁੱਖ

ਫੁਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਖਿੜ ਖਿੜ ਜਾਵੇ

ਬੁੱਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਾਲ ਗੁਲਾਬੀ

ਬੋਲ ਮਿਠੇ ਛੁਆਰੇ

ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੜੀ ਸੁਰੀਲੀ

ਮੇਰੇ ਕੱਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣਾਵੇ

ਜੇਰਾ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਾੜੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ

ਗੁੱਸਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਆਵੇ

ਮੰਮਤਾ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ

ਪਰਵਾਰ ਤੇ ਜਾਨ ਨਿਸ਼ਵਾਰੇ

ਸੋਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਸੁੱਚੀ

ਭੁੱਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹ ਦਿਖਾਵੇ

ਸੱਭ ਲਈ ਪਿਆਰ ਜਿਤਾਵੇ

पैल पौंदी जद टुरे

मोरां नू मात पावे

चेहरा उस दा हॅसमुख

फुलां वांग खिङ खिङ जावे

बुल उस दे लाल गुलाबी

बोल मिॅठे छुआरे

आवाज उस दी बङी सुरीली

मेरे कना नू गीत सुणावे

जेरा उस दा पहाङों उच्चा

गुॅसा उस नू घॅट आवे

ममता दा भंडार उस कोल

परवार ते जान निछवारे

सोच उस दी सॅच्ची सुच्ची

भुलिआं नू राह दिखावे

दिॅल उस दा पियार भॅरिआ

सॅब लई पियार जितावे

Small ears nose petit 

Sparkling pearly teeth 

Eyes deep like  the sea 

Who see besotted be he

Her face is a beauty 

Moon burns in jealousy 

Wee bit heavy from the waist 

But mesmerising is her gait 

She walks in a prance 

Like peacock in a dance 

Her features are lively 

As pleasing as water lily 

Her voice is  so tuneful to hear 

Sing songs and pleasing to my ear 

Mountain like patience she has got 

Angry lost temper I have seen her not 

Thinking pure she has a noble mind 

Advised by her lost souls their path they find 

Heart soft heart full of love to the brim 

Showers love on all friends kith and kin 

God made her in his leisure time 

I am ever grateful she is mine
